Zaventem
More than just a place to sleep
Zaventem, a small commune in the province of Flemish Brabant, lies on the outskirts of Brussels. It may be a modest locality, but certainly one with a lot to offer: Brussels, the capital of Belgium and Europe, is right around the corner. Zaventem is also situated at one of Europe’s major highway interchanges and hosts the international Brussels Airport.
Brussels Airport provides approximately 250,000 flight movements a year, bringing 24 million passengers to destinations all over the globe. The airport shares its 1245 acres with many related businesses. Zaventem is also renowned for its green surroundings, beautiful landscapes and quiet residential areas such as Steenokkerzeel and Kortenberg.
Zaventem undeniably is the ideal home base for the international business professional. Many important companies are headquartered in and around Brussels. On a military and political level, NATO and most European Institutions are based in the area.
